Hello! My name is Tylar Searcy and I am an Academic Specialist with College Bound-STL. As an Academic Support Specialist, my focus is academic success and skill-building. My role is to empower students by helping them develop essential study skills, including time management, effective note-taking, writing, and reading comprehension. I provide one-on-one academic coaching and continuously monitor student progress by tracking grades and attendance to ensure they stay on track. For students who need extra help, I facilitate connections to both internal and external tutoring resources. Beyond individual support, I create and host engaging events and skill workshops like "Chat 'n Snack" and dedicated study hours to foster a supportive learning community. I also develop academic handouts, guides, and quick tips to provide students with readily accessible resources. In my spare time, I enjoy being with family and friends, trying new foods, reading, listening to podcasts, and traveling the world.
