Description

The Structures I course is an introduction to structural engineering and related terminology as it applies to architecture. The course involves calculating direct stress problems, reactions for beams, properties of sections, shear diagrams, and moment diagrams.
Students will become familiar with using structural tables to solve related formulas. Three credit hours.
