Description

This college writing course further utilizes rhetorical principles
and skills gained from ENG1101 with a focus on persuasion
and argumentation. Upon completion, students will write
argumentation essays supported with evidence while avoiding
common logical fallacies. Students will conduct online research
and write documented research papers using Modern Language
Association (MLA) standards. They will use grammar, spelling,
punctuation and mechanics correctly. They will use critical
thinking skills to analyze a variety of argumentation texts.
Prerequisite: ENG1101. Three credit hours
