Description

ART1111 Architectural Graphics
This course introduces students to the profession of architecture and related
foundational concepts. Through an introduction to architectural graphics, students will utilize hand draw n methods to visually communicate the shape, depth, and scale of three-dimensional objects and the spatial environment. These methods will include sketching, orthographic projection, axonometric and perspective drawings, shade and shadow, textures, and drawing composition. Additional topics include architectural vocabulary, color rendering, architectural lettering and
construction documentation. Three credit hours.
