Description

The engine controls section of this course covers the diagnosis of issues found in the ignition, fuel, emissions, and check engine light systems. Students work with the OBDII platform along with a variety of diagnostic tools including, the latest Honda specific scan to ols, aftermarket scan tools, lab scopes, an d amp probes. Stud ents will learn to diagnose engine concerns using inputs, output s, and scan tool data lists. The Heating , Ventilation , and Air Conditioning (HVAC) secti on includes the diagnosis and repair of HVAC problems w ith an em phasis on compo nent replacement using proper procedures . Ten credit hours.
