Authorized means the housing deposit has been paid and all payments have been covered.

All immunizations are due no later than Monday, February 6, 2023. There is a $20.00 fine if the immunizations are not completed by the deadline. If the immunizations are not completed by Friday, March 11, 2022  the fine will increase to $40.00 and the resident will be required to move out of Walker Hall until the immunizations have been completed and turned in to Residential Life.

Move In Guides

This guide provides ALL the information essential to your move in day! 




Walker Hall closes at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, December 15, 2022 reopens at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 10, 2023



  • Close all windows and pull-down window shades.
  • Turn off ALL lights.
  • All carpet must be vacuumed. All tile floors must be swept and mopped.
  • All surfaces must be wiped down. (Desks, counters, dressers, etc.
  • Remove all trash. (Any trash left will result in a failed inspection)
  • Make sure all areas inside your dorm are clean, including bedrooms, bathrooms, living rooms and kitchens. (Areas should be SPOTLESS)
  • Apartments with refrigerators must be empty and clean. This means the freezer and refrigerator. Turn off ice makers. DO NOT unplug apartment refrigerators.
  • Personal refrigerators must be empty and unplugged and leave the door open. Place towels around the bottom to soak any water caused by defrosting. Please do this the day before break.
  • Seal and store all non-refrigerated food items.
  • All dishes, pots, pans and silverware must be cleaned and stored in cabinets.
  • Unplug all personal electronics, small kitchen appliances and electronic devices.



Keys can be picked up from 12pm-7pm on 1/10/23.

These inspections will be VERY detailed. This means every room is expected to be a very high standard of clean. Any common areas such as a shared bathroom, kitchens and living rooms will be inspected on the basis of all who share the area. This means everyone can fail an inspection if the shared areas are not cleaned, a failed inspection has a $50.00 charge which will be added to your student account.
