Today is Constitution Day! September 17th is also known as Citizenship Day. Enacted in 2005 by the United States Department of Education, this law requires any school receiving federal funds of any kind to acknowledge the date, September 17, 1787, the delegates to the Constitutional Convention met for the last time to sign the document they had created.
